Division of Health Policy/Outcomes Research
About the Division:
Research in the Division of Health Policy/Outcomes Research focuses on health care quality, costs, and outcomes of care for children, adolescents and adults; the impact of public insurance programs for children; the organization and financing of health care systems; and econometric, psychometric, and health outcomes methods.
Faculty are funded by numerous federal agencies and nonprofit foundations, including the National Institutes of Health, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Maternal and Child Health Bureau, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The Division also conducts evaluation research for Florida’s Department of Health, Agency for Health Care Administration, and Healthy Kids Corporation; and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
